Very Effective

If, like me, you sometimes find that your iPhone camera has intense shadows that block out important parts of your photo, this app can really help. It has an astonishing ability to pull up details from dark shadow areas without making the brighter areas too bright. It also has an effective range of more common controls, so it is by no means a one-shot app. I am very happy with it!

Added later: after longer experience with this app I am even more delighted with it. The range and sophistication of the controls is quite astonishing but not in the least daunting because they are so easy to use. And at any point you can toggle between with original and modified images. I think the name Instaflsh is a bit of a misnomer as it does so MUCH more than fill in flash!
